We help families finally have the conversations they keep meaning to have. Instead of interviewing your loved ones, we guide family members to share stories with each other - providing the questions, structure, and gentle facilitation that makes these conversations feel natural and important.

How does the process work?

Choose a package that fits your family's needs and comfort level. Schedule your session - we come to your home or chosen location. Prepare together with our thoughtful question guide (optional but helpful). Connect during your guided family conversation, where we facilitate but family members do the storytelling. Preserve your conversation as professionally edited audio/video and transcript.

Who guides the conversation - you or us?

Both. We provide the meaningful questions and create the comfortable space for conversation to flow. But the magic happens when family members ask each other the questions that matter. Some sessions work best with us gently guiding throughout, others with family members taking the lead after we help them get started.

What if family members don't know what to ask each other?

This is exactly why families need our service. We bring carefully crafted questions that go deeper than "tell me about your childhood." Questions like "What's a lesson you learned the hard way?" or "What do you want your grandchildren to know about our family?" We help family members discover what they've always wanted to ask but never knew how.

Where do sessions take place?

In your home or wherever your family feels most comfortable having meaningful conversation. We've found the kitchen table often works better than a formal living room. It's about emotional comfort, not perfect acoustics.

How long is a session?

Sessions range from 1-3 hours depending on your package. But time becomes irrelevant when stories start flowing. We follow the natural rhythm of your family's conversation rather than watching the clock.

What if someone gets emotional during our conversation?

This happens often, and it's usually a sign that we've reached the stories that truly matter. We're experienced at creating safe space for emotions while helping the conversation continue. Sometimes the most meaningful moments come right after someone gets teary-eyed sharing a memory.

What if my loved one is nervous about being recorded?

Very common. We focus on making the conversation feel natural rather than "performed." Many people forget they're being recorded within the first few minutes because they're engaged in genuine conversation with someone they love.

Do you provide the questions ahead of time?

We can share our question categories beforehand if that helps your family feel prepared. But we've found that the most authentic stories emerge when questions feel spontaneous rather than rehearsed. We'll guide you to whatever approach works best for your family's style.

What happens after our conversation?

Your recording is carefully edited to remove long pauses and distractions while preserving the authentic flow of your conversation. You'll receive your completed package within a few weeks. Many families tell us they continue having deeper conversations long after our session - we give them permission and practice for ongoing meaningful dialogue.

Can this be given as a gift?

Absolutely. Adult children often book sessions as gifts for their parents, giving the whole family the chance to finally ask the questions they've always wondered about. We provide gift certificates and work directly with recipients to find the right time and approach.

Do you travel outside Riverside County, CA?

Yes. Sessions within 20 miles of Moreno Valley are included in all packages. We also offer extended travel because we believe these conversations should happen where your family feels most at home.

How long do you store our recordings?

Recordings are securely stored for 6 months after delivery, allowing time for additional copies or format changes. After that, they're permanently deleted to protect your family's privacy.
