For Senior Communities

Connection. Reflection. Belonging.

Every resident carries a lifetime of wisdom, laughter, and love.

Learn by Legacy Story Studio helps you bring those stories to life through meaningful programs that foster belonging, spark joy, and strengthen family ties.

Together, we’ll make sure no story fades quietly.

Why Legacy Programming Matters

Your residents have lived remarkable lives. They’ve navigated world events, raised families, built careers, and gathered wisdom that deserves to be heard and preserved.

Yet in many senior living environments, these stories remain untold. Family visits become routine. Residents crave meaningful engagement. And adult children realize, too late, that they never asked the questions that mattered most.

Learn by Legacy Story Studio helps you change that.

Our structured, professionally facilitated storytelling programs:

  • Reduce isolation through connection and reminiscence

  • Strengthen family relationships with deeper conversation

  • Enhance resident dignity by honoring lived experience

  • Differentiate your community with meaningful engagement

  • Create tangible keepsakes that families cherish for generations

FAQs

Program Logistics

How does this fit with our activities calendar?
We coordinate directly with your activities team to find the best time and handle all facilitation. You simply provide the space and promote it to residents.

What’s the time commitment?
Each Circle lasts 60–90 minutes and can be held monthly or bi-weekly. Residents can attend as often as they wish.

Consent & Privacy

How do you handle consent and confidentiality?
All participants—or their authorized representatives—provide written consent before any recording occurs. Residents choose whether their stories remain private, are shared only with family, or are featured in community materials.

No recordings or summaries are shared without clear permission. We take privacy seriously and follow community guidelines for data and resident protection.

Family Involvement & Sharing

Can families join Memory Sharing Circles?
To protect the comfort and privacy of residents, Memory Sharing Circles are closed-group experiences. These sessions are designed for peer connection, so family members don’t attend. However, with resident consent, short summaries or highlights can be shared so families feel connected.

Can families participate in Individual Legacy Recording Sessions?
Absolutely. These are family-inclusive experiences where loved ones can join in person or virtually. They’re often meaningful opportunities to reconnect and capture memories together.

What if a family wants to be involved in both?
They can receive approved highlights from Memory Circles and also schedule a private Legacy Recording Session together. This gives families multiple ways to engage while honoring resident boundaries.

Accessibility & Participant Comfort

How do you support residents with different abilities or comfort levels?
All programming is designed to be gentle, flexible, and inclusive. Sessions move at a relaxed pace, and residents are always free to listen or share as they wish.

We’re not clinicians, but we take care to create a respectful, low-stress environment where every participant feels comfortable and valued. If a resident has specific accessibility needs, we coordinate with your team to ensure appropriate support.

Operations

Do we need special equipment or setup?
No. We bring everything. For group sessions, just provide a comfortable, quiet room where 6–10 residents can sit in a circle.

What’s your service area?
We’re based in Perris, CA, and serve communities throughout Riverside County and nearby areas. Travel within 20 miles is included.
